
JOYCE PEARSON, CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST
Joyce Pearson is the founding managing member of Equitable Divorce Solutions LLC. She possesses over 23 years of Financial Planning and Investment Management experience having started her financial planning career at EF Hutton in Springfield, Illinois.
Since 1999, she has counseled individuals/couples regarding the equitable distribution / division of assets for pending marital dissolutions and legal separations. Joyce has been recognized and testified as an expert witness by the Maricopa County Superior Court regarding the future implications to cash flow and projected net worth of individuals and couples as a result of a proposed settlement. In addition, she assists individuals and their attorneys in determining which assets to liquidate, possible tax consequences upon liquidation and suggested order of liquidation for transfer to the spouse.
Ms. Pearson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry. She is a Certified Financial Planner having obtained that distinction through the University of Phoenix, Arizona and holds the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts. In addition to Advanced Training in the Preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, she has qualified to participate on a Collaborative Divorce Team in Arizona. She is licensed as a Registered Representative, Investment Advisor Representative with Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as being a licensed Life, Accident & Health Agent in Arizona.
Ms. Pearson is a former Board Member of the Financial Planning Association, Greater Phoenix Chapter and is one of the founders of the Arizona Certified Divorce Planners, Arizona Chapter. She was a charter member of the Arizona Association for Collaborative Divorce Professionals and has served as a Board Member of the Society of Financial Professionals.
Joyce is an active speaker and educator. She has been quoted in Kiplingers magazine, USA Today, Local ABC TV Affiliate and has appeared on several Financial Planning forums for the public. ANDI LAWRENCE, FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY
Andrea C. Lawrence, a Partner at Hallier & Lawrence PLC, was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1997 and in Arizona in 2005. A 1997 graduate of the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Andrea has practiced family law exclusively, first in Illinois and now Arizona. Her practice includes all pre- and post-decree issues. Andrea has extensive litigation and appellate experience in both custody and financial-related matters. Andrea also serves as a parenting coordinator, a neutral third party who helps separated or divorced high conflict parents resolve child-related disagreements outside of court.
Andrea is one of the few attorneys in Maricopa County who prepares Qualified Domestic Relations Orders to divide community retirement accounts. She is also a speaker for Divorce SOS, Strategies, Options and Solutions, a bi-monthly seminar open to the public that provides education on divorce-related matters.
